Maricopa County South Court Tower is the largest individual project in Maricopa County’s history. The 695,000 SF building design was influenced by the Arizona’s Victims Bill of Rights and pioneered the integration of therapeutic environments for victims within courthouses. The building’s  design drivers included more visible entrances, cultivating calming and safe places, and providing ample daylight with pleasant views. Natural light was strategically harvested for the benefit of the building’s users and was carefully considered when designing each façade. The project sits south of the historic 1928 courthouse, both honoring its predecessor and creating a new structure appropriate for its time and place.
