The City of Lawrence recognized the need for additional downtown parking prior to the completion of the extensive library renovation. This garage consists of four levels of pre-cast concrete with strategic design elements, like a perforated metal skin on the upper levels that coordinate with the new clay tile rain screen on the exterior of the library.
